My mom found this old promotion for the Archuleta event in Rexburg, and because she loves and supports me she mailed it my way. How many moms support your waste of time website?

Other than the fact it confirms David was used in a deceiving fashion in order to promote the event, it has some other golden nuggets.  My favorite is the photo of Daniel.  He looks like his mother signed him up for guitar lessons but he wanted to take break-dancing lessons instead.

What this really reminded me is the fact Rexburg does have musical talent but it doesnt’ get the promotion an outside group receives. It’s very probable local bands have a similar promotional machine behind them, but I somewhat doubt it. I know there were boy-bands, country music groups, barber-shop quartets, choirs, and good old high school rock bands when I was younger, and I hope there are many local groups continuing their love of music.

I’ve always wanted this website to promote all things Rexburg and today I want to make it available to any Eastern Idaho musical groups/bands who want to use our services. Send me your event dates and I’ll post it. Hook me up with your mp3 and we’ll let others hear what you’re creating. Give me a link to your Youtube video and we’ll throw that on as well.  And, if you have a musical group that’s no longer together but you have the recordings, I would really love to post those up.
